Pakistan’s first HR Digitization at K-Electric using SAP on TMC Cloud
TMC (TallyMarks Consulting) has helped K Electric successfully digitize its HR Records using SAP OpenText xECM. This is the first such implementation in Pakistan and has allowed K Electric to make leaps and bounds in its digital transformation journey.
The Go-Live ceremony celebrated the efforts done by both the teams at TMC and K Electric as well as mentioned the main highlights of the project. The project was basically a one window solution that included implementation, IaaS, Scanning, Digitization as well as managed services. It resulted in a Centralized Document Management System that is ready to be integrated with other KE departments for documents digitization and SAP integration lowering the total cost of ownership. The fact that the solution is integrated with SAP, gives access to digital documents on the fly. The amount of data covered in digital format is in itself a huge feat; 2.6 Million of Physical Pages of 26000 Employees.
TMC is proud to host K Electric’s solution on the ISO 27001 Certified TMC Cloud. This offers K Electric ease of expansion of resources as and when required making ZERO day procurement cycle for extra hardware or storage. Data is also secure and resides within the premises of Pakistan.
SAP & TMC, Transformation Realized
Earlier this year, K-Electric (KE) won big by being awarded the SAP Quality Award in the Fast Delivery category for MENA Region. Some significant facts of the implementation are as follows;
- 11+ TB of Data migrated from Oracle to HANA.
- Conversion from SAP BW on NW 7.0 with Oracle DB to SAP BW on HANA NW 7.4.
- Hardware Migration from IBM Power Machines to Huawei KUNLUN Series.
- OS Migration from AIX to Suse Linux
- Implementation of SAP BO Landscape to cater huge volume of report data.
